Kiana Joy is a California native from sunny San Diego, with a passion for helping people stress less and lift more! Her journey took her across the globe, from exploring Europe, Asia, and Canada to living abroad in Guam, where she developed her craft as a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instructor and competitor under Carlson Gracie Jiu Jitsu Academy.
Returning to San Diego, Kiana continued to expand her knowledge under skilled mentors in fields like functional neurology, rehabilitation, powerlifting, and hypertrophy training. With 10 California State records in the WRPF, Kiana has evolved from sports specific group fitness and cycling instructor to specializing in strength performance and conditioning training.
Kiana's approach goes beyond the weight room; she has a deep love for food and enjoys sharing nutritional tips that help people meet their daily needs. Her passion for health and fitness shines through in every session, empowering others to build confidence and find their own passion for movement.
Despite her fighting spirit, Kiana is a big lover at heart. When she’s not at the gym, you’ll find her soaking up the sun at the beach, hanging out with friends, or relaxing at home with her cats, Reese and Princess Buttercup.
Each session begins with a 10 minute warm-up focused on mobility exercises to get your body moving and ready. Once you’re warmed up, we’ll dive into compound training, emphasizing the fundamentals: squat, bench, and deadlift. Together, we’ll refine your form and technique, building your comfort and confidence with the barbell.
After the main compound lifts, we'll round out the session with hypertrophy accessories using cables, dumbbells, machines, and more to target specific muscle groups and enhance your overall strength.
Remember, every session is tailored to your unique goals and needs—not one size fits all!
